How to Use

Preparation

  • Shake or stir thoroughly before use. Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean and free of dirt, grease, oils, solvents, and other contaminants. Ideal bonding temperature for adhesive is above 16˚C

Adhesive Application

  • When bonding, Sabre Surface Activator may be used on non-porous surfaces. We recommend preliminary compatibility tests previous to application.

Tack Time:

  • To test the tack, touch adhesive lightly with the back of the finger. If the adhesive feels sticky but does not transfer to the skin, the adhesive has dried to tack. It is important that no solvent is trapped between the surfaces. For porous surfaces and crucial areas, it is recommended to apply a second coat after the first has become tacky.

Bonding:

  • Position components carefully, as a strong bond is made immediately on contact. Place the coated surfaces together and apply firm, uniform pressure to the entire bonding surface ensuring that any air bubbles are expelled (a hand or nip roller is recommended). Full adhesive strength will be reached in 24 hours.

Cleaning:

  • To remove excess adhesive use Sabre CC Citrus Cleaner.
